Student Progress Tracker

Know where you stand, and what to study next.

01 · Problem

Students study hard but cannot easily see whether they are on track. Their hours, quiz scores and goals sit in different places, so they only find out they are falling behind when it is almost too late, and they do not know which topics deserve their time.

02 · Solution

A full-stack study app for tracking subjects, topics, study sessions, quiz scores and goals. Hours-based goals show in real time whether your current pace will hit them. The app recommends what to review next using AI, based on your weakest topics, and sends a weekly email digest of hours studied, quiz trends and goals that are falling behind.

03 · Process

  1. 01

    Research

Looked at how students plan and track their study, and where they lose sight of their progress.

  2. 02

    Project requirements

Defined what the app must track: subjects, topics, study sessions, quiz scores and goals, plus the feedback students need from them.

  3. 03

    System design

Designed the system architecture, the ERD and the data model that connect subjects, topics, sessions, quizzes and goals.

  4. 04

    API

Built the backend: tracking endpoints, goal pace calculations, AI review recommendations and the weekly email digest.

  5. 05

    User interface

Built the interface where students log sessions, record quiz scores and watch their goals in real time.

  6. 06

    Testing

Tested the tracking logic and the user flows end to end before release.

  7. 07

    Deployment

Deployed the frontend on Vercel and the backend on Render.
